As I finish the final closeout out on the Connors Elementary School, I wanted to send you a note of appreciation.

Mark Donovan, Project Manager – PC Construction Company

Projects today can be difficult with tight margins and even tighter schedules. I truly believe that the entire team came together and collectively delivered a product to the City of Lewiston and the State of Maine that we can all be proud of.

I’ve heard very positive feed back from the City of Lewiston, Department of Education and Harriman on the professionalism and quality of work by the entire project team.

This would not have been possible without the hard work from Sargent Corporation.

Thank you again for your dedication to PC Construction and this projects success.

We look forward to future endeavors with you.

I am writing to express my appreciation for the work that Sargent Corporation performed on the Oxford Wastewater Treatment Facility and Collection System projects

Brent M. Bridges, P.E., Senior Principal / Executive Vice President – Woodard & Curran

The difficult site conditions made each of the projects you worked on, the WWTF Foundation and Outfall and the Collection System and Pump Stations work along Route 26, very challenging.  With a less talented crew, these projects may not have turned out so well.

We as engineers know we only look good when our construction partners make us look good.  Your commitment to both excellence and safety made us look very good, and the Town of Oxford is extremely happy with the work that Sargent Corporation has performed.

I look forward to many more “built in Maine by Maine” opportunities with you.

Dear Sargent Corporation-Bangor Division,

Alan Reed, President, Portland Air Freight

“I would like to thank everyone that worked on the PAF project in Hampden.  This was a difficult site rebuild due to having to demo the old concrete pad and paved yard, change the drainage and then rebuild it all while keeping us open and operational!  No small feat!  Our project was completed early and came out better than we could have imagined.  What a pleasure working with a true group of professionals that always made sure our business needs came first.  The Sargent crew had excellent communications with our staff and always followed up and did what they said they would do.  An all around great experience and we are very pleased with the end result.”

We look forward to working with Sargent on other Iberdrola projects

Edward J. Cherian, Project Manager

“Sargent has provided civil construction work for the Lempster Wind Farm, starting on 26 December 2007 and continuing through the present. During that time, Ms. Katrina Morgan has been the Sargent Civil Superintendent, with responsibility for all of Sargent’s work on-site.

This is the first wind farm which Sargent has worked on for Iberdrola. You are likely aware that Iberdrola is the world’s largest wind farm owner and operator, and has greatly expanded operations in the United States. We are currently constructing 13 different wind farms in the U.S. and will further expand for 2009 and 2010. As the Lempster Project Manager, I have discussed the project progress and work in detail with my managers, and we collectively have noted the outstanding work that Katrina and Sargent have done.  We look forward to working with Sargent in the future on other Iberdrola projects.”

Thanks from Temple Academy

Craig Riportelia, Lead Pastor, Calvary Temple/Temple Academy

On behalf of the 125 students and families of Temple Academy and the entire congregation of Calvary Temple, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the extremely generous donation of fill that we received from the Sargent Corporation.

Our plans for a community playground simply would not have been possible without your donation of nearly 200 truckloads of fill and topsoil. Mike Light was a tremendous help as my direct contact person from the project at Colby College. The two drivers were wonderful, and Sargent was a delight to work with on this project. We hope to send you some photos of our finished project upon its completion.

Again, thank you very much for your kindness and generosity.”

Charles County official applauds Sargent Corporation’s John Leeman

Dennis Fleming, Chief, Environmental Resources, Charles County, MD

“On behalf of the Charles County Public Facilities, Solid Waste Division, I would like to take the opportunity to commend the services of your General Superintendent, John Leeman. Mr. Leeman’s quality of work and commitment to the job during the construction of Cell 3A at the Charles County Landfill surpassed all of my expectations.

As expected of any job of this magnitude, there were several challenges that we encountered along the way. Mr. Leeman was able to provide exceptional leadership during these times to resolve the inherent conflicts between design engineers, site specific challenges, and the bureaucratic constraints of local and state government. Having been through this contentious process on several similar capital projects, I can honestly state that it was his professionalism that guided us through this process and resulted in the job being done on time, within budget and according to specification. I would recommend the services of Sargent Corporation and particularly John Leeman to anyone who inquired.”
