Project included constructing over 25 miles of “year round” access roads and crane paths along with 48 tower pads.
The 148 megawatt project also required environmental and storm water management systems take on new meaning with the short growing season that this country receives.
The construction of 48 3 megawatt Vestas V-90’s will stand along side the pristine tree line. Roads and pads had to be built to specified maximum grades with the least impact to the environment. Over 750,000 cy of earth and rock was moved and processed to provide access roads for delivering equipment and tower components to the site.
Additionally, we rebuilt over 6 miles of existing town roads including constructing a bridge to allow delivery of tower components to the project site.
