Wind Power

Sargent Corporation’s wind power services include test pits and site exploration, civil design review and optimization, site work on access roads, wind turbine generator pads, and underground electrical, as well as permitting assistance, erosion and sedimentation control, and final site reclamation.  Sargent has constructed high elevation, heavy civil scope, for over 80% of the wind energy projects in New England.  Starting with Maine’s first major wind power project at Mars Hill back in 2005,  we have constructed 15 projects.  This includes building over 141 miles of access roads, 410 turbine pads with a total build out capacity of 975 MW.  Projects include:
