Sargent earned the Certificate of Achievement in Safety, with 4,158 employee-hours worked without a lost workday injury in 2015.

2011 AGC America National Safety Awards

AGC provides this award to member organizations with incident rates at least 25% below the average rate in their division, as well as members with a zero-incident rate in heavy/industrial, highway, building, municipal utilities, and associate/specialty divisions.

2017 Best Places to Work in Maine

Sargent was honored to receive the 2017 Best Places to Work in Maine Award. Sargent ranked as the 14th-best place to work in Maine in the Large Employer Category (250 or more U.S. employees). The results were based 75% on employee surveys and 25% on benefits, policies, practices, and other general information. Along with a strong benefits package, Sargent’s employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) pays 10% of company profit equally each year to all employees.
