Description/Significance

This site was 17 acres and included construction of a large embankment with segmental walls to house a 173,000 sf building, a large soldier pile retaining wall to retain a large scope at the property line.

All aggregates were processed on site using ledge rock from adjoining property. The Project was started in October 2007 with the building subgrade completed in January 2008 after approximately 100,000 cy of granular file had been placed. Utilities included water lines, a sewer system on site, a natural gas service to the building, and an on-site infiltration system with vortech units.
